The Roles We Play

This image asks us to confront two uncomfortable questions:

What happens when the people we respect are also the people teaching us to tolerate abuse?

And how many of us become flying monkeys—not because we recognize ourselves as abusive, but because we have learned to excuse, defend, or participate in behaviors that harm others?

Justice should not depend on someone’s popularity, position, gender, or influence. And healing should not be another thing a person must fight to keep.

This is an indictment of those who have enslaved others in the community with their toxicity and chaos, whether playing the role of the Wizard or flying monkeys. They have kept the people away from the revolution of themselves.

Death to Babylon.
